Opportunity knocks! A leading offshore law firm with an international reach requires a Senior Solutions Analyst (Knowledge) to join their global knowledge management team, working across their global jurisdictions to support their legal practice teams in the delivery of client services. The role will focus on providing legal tools which support efficient and effective legal operations. These may be a combination of automation, client portals, and knowledge databases.  The role will be responsible for translating the firms' legal operational needs into fit for purpose pragmatic solutions. This newly created opportunity will give you lots of scope to further develop your legaltech/knowledge management skills in an open and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Requirements gathering for new KM client solution requests and preparing the business case for approval
  • Using Contract Express and HighQ to automate documents, build portals for clients and create workflows
  • Developing a range of new knowledge products and services to support clients and intermediaries
  • Maintaining and managing automated templates and client portals
  • Managing the CPL and migrating precedents to automation
  • Working with the whole business to embed house style and ensure brand consistency for clients
  • Delivering inductions for new starters on
  • products and services
  • Maintaining the products knowledge base, project documentation, and training materials
  • Assisting in the training and supervision of trainees during their placement with the knowledge team
  • Producing reports on projects and systems usage and keeping up to date with legal KM trends
  • Managing strong relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and suppliers
  • Covering for the absences of other team members

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Keen interest in knowledge and technology in a law firm setting
  • 5 years + experience required
  • Experience of dealing with stakeholders, suppliers, lawyers, and business services professionals of all levels
  • Experience of using legal tech solutions such as HighQ, Contract Express, or similar platforms
  • User centric approach to services and commercial awareness
  • Able to represent the team and the firm professionally and positively both internally and externally
  • Good organisational skills with sound judgement and attention to detail
  • A thorough and methodical approach and the ability to manage multiple activities concurrently
  • A team player with initiative and drive who is able to work in a virtual team setting
  • Good communication and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Friendly and approachable with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Commercially aware and client focused
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects concurrently and see them through to the end
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations including those around anti-money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Commit to fulfilling your personal CPD requirements and to continually develop your skills and knowledge
  • Be willing to work outside of normal working hours from time to time
  • Be willing to travel occasionally in the course of employment
