Senior Legal Technology Solutions Executive - Global Law Firm - London


A global law firm has a new permanent position based in London for a Senior Specialist in LegalTech, and with expertise in HighQ and similar tools. This role is within a Legal Tech Solutions team and is responsible for promoting, supporting, and developing the capability of LegalTech tools across the firm.

In this firm, LegalTech solutions encompass managing the firm's client collaboration and project management platforms, workflow, document automation, AI contract review tools, and the intranet. You'll engage with individuals at all levels within the firm across various offices and occasionally with clients. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential as you'll play a key role in increasing awareness of existing tech products across the firm.

In this Senior LegalTech Solutions role, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assessing the suitability of the firm’s tech products, providing advice on options, and expanding product offerings.
  • Demonstrating expertise in and experience with client portals, data rooms, AI contract review, and automation tools like HighQ, Luminance, Bryter, and Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Presenting LegalTech tools during client pitches and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Ensuring appropriate training and resources are available for users to maximize tool utilization.
  • Managing the testing and implementation of HighQ upgrades.
  • Reviewing processes and policies, collaborating with Risk and InfoSec teams to ensure system usage policies are upheld.

To be a suitable applicant for the role, you will need to have a mix of the following skills and experience:

  • Proficiency with HighQ Collaborate.
  • Some familiarity with data rooms, AI contract review, or automation tools such as Luminance, Bryter, etc., is desirable.
  • Experience in website or intranet/extranet administration, e.g., SharePoint, is also advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment, preferably within a law firm or professional services firm.
  • Highly developed communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for legal knowledge and legal tech systems.
  • An intellectually curious mindset and a thirst for problem solving
