Senior Consultant – technology market research
Research consultant required by top technology industry insights business.
Our client is a leading provider of market research, insights and market forecasts to the worlds top tier of enterprise technology firms. Clients include all the top megavendors such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, Oracle etc as well as hundreds of other top technology clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop client challenges into project proposals as well as coordinating the resourcing of each piece of work before it is handed off to a project manager.
- Coordinating with topic experts who will do most of the delivery (the consultant plays a coordinating role during the project specification stage)
- Work effectively with the sales team who bring the consultants leads.
- Propose client projects including, bespoke forecasts, thought leadership and go to market studies
Requirements:
- Experience in research, consulting or a relevant role within an industry analysis or market research firm
- Strong commercial acumen ideally having studies management or another topic covering market analysis
- Ability to take a relevant client challenge and propose a research based consultancy deliverable as a solution
- This is not a hands on research role, it is focused on dealing with clients, internal experts and putting together proposals for client solutions
This is an exciting time to join a highly respected firm with new owners undergoing significant investment in their capabilities. This role can be based from home with occasional travel to London offices.
