New in! Library Assistant required by a global law firm to support the general administration behind the purchasing and managing of information resources both print and online. The team as a whole is also responsible for the administration, development and exploitation of the automated global library management system (LMS) including running reports, training and advising business users and international colleagues.  Based in Belfast. Contract: One year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Journal and Looseleaf Management
  • Processing new books
  • Administer the leavers process
  • Management of access to online products
  • General administration and support activities

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Have strong IT skills including MS Office; experience of automated library management systems (LMS) would be desirable
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a library environment
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent all round communication skills, both oral and written able to interact confidently with clients of all levels
  • Be resilient and adaptable
  • Have a flexible approach to work
  • Have experience working in a team environment
  • Be enthusiastic about providing a service to clients, both internal and external
  • Demonstrate a professional standard of behaviour at all times
