Legal Technologist
A law firm that is considered to be very much a leader in the field of M&A, corporate finance and private equity for mid-market firms has a requirement in their growing legal technology team. This is a learning opportunity for someone that already has some exposure to some of the related technologies in document management, collaboration or machine learning and wants take on a position with steep learning curve and opportunities to provide solutions for both internal and customer technology questions.
In this role the responsibilities and objectives include, but are not limited to:
- Working in a large and diverse technology team to implement, develop and manage digital solutions
- Using and learning AI software, machine learning, collaboration and document management solutions
- Working on legal technology projects internally and for customers
- Helping the business to identify and explore new technology solutions and opportunities
- Support, testing, maintenance and development of existing systems
- Interfacing with numerous departments, individuals and stakeholders within the firm
Suitable candidates will need to offer the following:
- Some commercial experience with legal technologies such as HighQ, Contract Express, KIRA, Luminance or RAVN.
- A genuine passion for technology, an eagerness to learn and a real interest in problem solving and new technology concepts
- An ability to fall back on organizational skills and a methodical approach to manage simultaneous projects or tasks
- Enjoys working with people of different backgrounds, promoting team ethic and enjoys helping others
- Understands the challenges of being a conduit between different groups of stakeholders in an organization
