Make a difference! A premier professional services firm is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Knowledge Management Systems Analyst/Senior Analyst to join their Knowledge Management (KM) team. The role is part of a developing KM capability, and you will play a vital role in contributing to the development of the team and offerings, as well as defining their strategic direction. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the firm’s EMEA knowledge systems (including intranet), with the opportunity to participate in other aspects of the KM function, including training.  The successful candidate will be required to develop/maintain sites, pages, and libraries in SPO, as well as create reports and dashboards using Power BI. Skills in the full Microsoft 365 applications/ecosystem is also highly beneficial.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop/maintain EMEA Knowledge Portal
  • Maintain existing site pages and resources by responding to development/change requests and executing bulk content uploads to library
  • Partner with business unit stakeholders on the development of additional site resources
  • Develop site metrics and reporting to provide insight into usage
  • Develop workflows for new content submission, approval, and upload
  • Provide training to new joiner groups and existing users, as well as develop training materials
  • Partner with Business units on KM initiatives
  • Support EMEA Knowledge Manager in designing, developing, and implementing KM future state processes and tools
  • Provide advice based on internal and external KM best practices
  • Collaborate with KM team members across regions to share knowledge of processes, approaches, methods, tools/platforms
  • Provide insight and status into the BU needs, initiatives, and end-user experience to help educate and keep current the firm’s centralised KM team
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and Global Enterprise Shared Services
  • Build relationships & partner across other shared services to best support business units in the achievement of their KM goals
  • Help connect business units with other shared service contacts
  • Grow KM knowledge and expertise
  • Identify internal and external KM trends and best practices

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Solid experience in Knowledge Management practices
  • Bachelor's degree in related area or similar work/technical experience
  • Proven experience working with professionals at all levels
  • Experience working in KM at a professional services or consultancy firm
  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint experience required
  • Excellent SharePoint Online skills are essential
  • Consultative approach when partnering with the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with multiple stakeholder groups and senior management
  • A command of KM concepts, best practices, systems, platforms (Primarily Microsoft 365), frameworks, and tools 
  • Analytical reasoning and solution-focused problem solver with the ability to think critically and independently
  • Ability to drive to results, in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of synthesising information
  • Works well under pressure; flexible work style
  • Excellent communication skills and receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas and solutions for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated history of operating with urgency, responsiveness, and client first focus.
