Montagu has identified a requirement for a senior Knowledge Management professional to work with the performance improvement team:
- Create best practice templates and processes for each significant offering
- Codify approach to value creation
- Produce case studies looking at lessons learned
- Facilitate experience sharing
- Tailor information to the right audience
- Organise a portal optimised for findability with all of the best practice documents
- Develop internal ‘points of view’ on the Montagu approach to issues such as key account management or pricing
There is also the potential for this person to start to take on:
- Managing external consultants and information providers
- Developing best practice documents from external knowledge such as on IT
The suitable candidate is likely to have come from a consulting background. They must have the ability to understand a wide range of consulting offerings and content. This role requires someone with the seniority to engage with a sophisticated audience under extreme time pressure with the right communication style and a sense of how to present information by identifying ‘what is important’.
