New Grad! A global law firm requires an Assistant Knowledge and Information Officer to join their Global Financial Markets Information team to develop effective working relationships within the practice groups and ensure their information requirements are developed and met, regularly undertake feedback exercises across the groups regarding their resources and act upon results and engage with lawyers at all levels to encourage knowledge sharing.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supply, maintain and develop information resources
- Handle a range of information enquiries from internal clients to established service levels
- Compiling current awareness
- Coordinate deal reviews
- Organise and help deliver trainee training
- Assist with and manage projects
- Organise meetings
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:
- Ideally have some experience working in a professional services or corporate office environment
- Have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Some experience of online research is desirable
- Preferably a Bachelors degree or equivalent – degree in Information Science or related discipline would be advantageous
- Make decisions within clear guidelines and take initiative when required, understand when to seek advice
- Organise and prioritise workload effectively
