Sourcing Information Procurement Manager, top 10 law firm

New role! A top 10 law firm requires a Sourcing Information Procurement Manager to take responsibility for ensuring that the firm derives the maximum value at the best price from its information supplier contracts.  You will be also be responsible for identifying and delivering annual savings opportunities, as well as managing the day to day Information Procurement function. This includes ensuring that supplier related risks are identified promptly, and risk managed accordingly.

Main responsibilities include:

  • ensuring that new suppliers are onboarded via a rigorous supplier selection and onboarding processcontracts are negotiated in accordance with the firm’s required terms
  • ensuring supplier costs are regularly reviewed and managed/renegotiated
  • undertake comparisons with the market place are taken, where possible
  • particular focus will be on the information function, broader support to Business Teams and the practice will also be required as necessary.

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Graduate
  • 3 - 5 years' plus experience of Sourcing and Supplier Management of information resources in a legal or professional service firm
  • experience that displays strong financial acumen
  • experience running with RFP's
  • implementing supplier contracts
  • knowledge/experience of platforms such as LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters (desirable)
  • previous management experience (desirable)
  • contract reviews, related contract change management and related negotiations
  • stakeholder management
