A well regarded global law firm has a newly created role for a Senior Library Assistant. This can be a full-time position or part-time (3 or 4 days per week).

Specific duties include:

  • Updating and amending catalogue records
  • Assisting with acquisitions and cataloguing new stock

  • Liaising with stakeholders to evaluate requirements

  • Managing the lifecycle of hard copy materials

  • Paying invoices

  • Supporting research team projects

In order to be considered for this role candidates should have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in library and information work
  • Postgraduate/graduate qualification in Library/Information Studies or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated experience of hardcopy management

  • Experience of using library management systems and cataloguing procedures

  • Willingness to collaborate with stakeholders across the firm

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
