A leading global consultancy has an exciting new role for a qualified Information professional to work as a Senior Coordinator within their Information Services team. Working as part of a large team and with practice areas across the firm, the successful candidate will be an excellent team player who would like to progress their career in a fast paced environment.


Key responsibilities include:


  • carrying out research using traditional and advanced electronic resources
  • providing filtered and well organised research results
  • building industry knowledge by attending practice area meetings, conferences and reading industry publications
  • participating in knowledge sharing initiatives and contributing to wikis, portals and other projects
  • delivering ad hoc and organised training sessions
  • participating in ongoing product and service evaluations and resource development activities
  • tracking personal research requests including cost recovery information
  • pro-actively seeking opportunities to broaden skill set
  • providing ongoing ad hoc administrative support for the team


In order to be considered for this role candidates should have:


  • business information research experience from consulting, financial services, law firms or similar commercial environments
  • a degree in Information Science/Information Management or equivalent higher education degree
  • demonstrable experience of Factiva and other business tools (Python would be beneficial)
  • flexible can-do attitude and a proactive approach
  • high standard of written and spoken communication skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • a second (or native) language would be advantageous (any welcome but Nordic languages especially beneficial)
