Senior Analyst – Digital Identity

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst within a global firm that represents the interests of the TMT sector. This role is a mix qualitative and quantitative analysis and works with predominantly with telco operators and service providers to strike a balance between convenience, privacy and security with their customers, and enabling those organisations to operate as consumer champions.

In this role, the Senior Analyst will have the following responsibilities and objectives:

  • Operating in an analyst role that is 60/40 in favour of qualitative research
  • Working with service providers and telco operators with respect to proof of concept and road testing products
  • Specific research topics are likely to centre on privacy, security, trust and digital identity
  • Providing market intelligence around dynamics and trends in identity and security ecosystems
  • Profiling the landscape in terms of competition, key market stakeholders and opportunities/challenges
  • Outputs will include insight in the form of reports, models and potentially presentations
  • Building an industry analyst profile and providing consulting expertise

To be suitable for this Senior Analyst role, candidates require the following experience and skills:

  • Experience in a similar analyst role covering areas such as security, privacy or identity
  • Ideally, experience will have been gained in one of the analyst houses, but candidates from client-side roles will also be considered
  • A good understanding of business models, e-commerce and technology ecosystems is essential
  • An ability to write reports, create thought leadership pieces and present to key stakeholders
  • Managing concurrent research and analysis projects and occasionally to tight deadlines
  • Strong data modelling skills and an advanced level of MS Excel skills
  • Ideally, a degree in a related discipline
