Managing Editor / Product Manager – Financial Services Regulation         

As a result of growth and increased funding, a very successful business that operates in the regulatory and compliance space, has an opportunity for a Managing Editor to help grow a product that is aligned to the payments industry.

This is a critical role for the firm and the position has a number of responsibilities and objectives. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with senior management to identify and define a research and content agenda for a team of writers and journalists
  • Producing a mix of industry commentary and insight that is aligned to compliance and regulation in the payments industry
  • Become an SME in the arena of payments regulation and compliance and represent the firm at related events, and at client meetings
  • Developing and leveraging a base of contacts in industry including lawyers, regulators, consultants and other experts
  • Operating in a strategic capacity, particularly in terms of product development

Suitable candidates will need to have the some or all of the following experience:

  • A good understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape surrounding the payments industry
  • Experience producing industry related content and insight
  • Product development or management experience
  • The ability to build a network of industry contacts and to present to industry
  • Managing and mentoring more junior members of the team
