A leading international law firm has a new opportunity for a Legal Automation Consulting Specialist. Working across the firm with a variety of stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the successful delivery of innovative automation solutions to improve work processes in order to meet practice group and client needs. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • providing best practice advice and consultation in the development of automation solutions and ensuring automation products meet the needs of key stakeholders
  • working with colleagues across the firm to identify automation use cases and related workflow solutions
  • advising users on best practice using legal automation products
  • advising content owners on preparation for document automation
  • contributing to building, updating and maintaining automated products and providing support including trouble shooting, managing user access, setting up security etc
  • working with trainers to develop and deliver user training as required
  • building and maintaining effective relationships with automation product owners, automation vendors and external consultants
  • promoting the Legal Operations function including providing user education, training and presentations
  • demonstrating an understanding of stakeholder needs and priorities linked to the firm's strategy

In order to be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • an undergraduate law degree (essential)
  • business information systems qualification or equivalent experience
  • several years' post qualification experience within a global law firm or professional services environment
  • strong understanding of legal automation software and applied experience of implementing tools such as Contract Express, HotDocs, Neota Logic (or similar)
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work to tight deadlines 
  • strong collaboration skills and experience with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
