New in! Global law firm require a Digital Content Specialist to join their Learning & Development team for a 9 month contract to design and developdigital learning content.  You will act as a digital learning expert within the organisation, attend meetings with stakeholders to build awareness, understanding and engagement.  The role will also work closely with key team members (L&D advisers) to support them to develop basic digital content creation skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead on the design and development of bespoke digital learning content
  • Plan the structure and design the required processes for digital learning content
  • Create interactive digital learning mediums to assist the organisation with the learning goals
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture digital learning content, develop content plans for the materials and resources and manage the creation of digital content
  • Edit and finalise digital content created by stakeholders
  • Work closely with the stakeholders to assess the role of digital learning within the existing training programmes, in order to advise on a range of digital tools
  • Develop quality assurance and evaluation processes to ensure that the suite of digital learning courses meet organisational requirements
  • Develop and determine appropriate workflow and activity scheduling in order to meet targets and/or turnaround times in collaboration with the L&D team
  • Advise on existing and desired IT structures of the organisation to create digital learning content
  • Support with dealing with problems relating to existing IT structures and the implementation of any new structures
  • Support with the management and development of the organisation’s LMS, keeping all metadata and information up to date

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in development and implementation of digital content and solutions using industry standard development tools, such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline and knowledge of SCORM
  • Extensive experience in the practical application of learning technologies and multi-media applications, in particular the use of Adobe Creative Suite including sound & video editing, and cross-platform delivery, including mobile devices
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Instructional Design or similar
  • Experience supporting learning and development in a professional services context
  • Established project coordination experience including a proactive approach to remove roadblocks
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to troubleshoot to deliver digital learning solutions
  • Experience implementing and/or working with a LMS
  • Experience with project coordination, including managing timelines, establishing priorities, and achieving milestones and deliverables
  • Must be able to embrace new technologies and acquire new skills quickly
