Knowledge and Innovation Product Manager - Law - London
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded commercial law firm as it continues to invest in its knowledge, innovation and technology capabilities.
Working at the intersection of Knowledge & Innovation and IT, the role will assume ownership of the firm's knowledge platforms, helping to shape how information is organised, accessed and leveraged across the business. While the initial focus will be centred on SharePoint and the development of the firm's knowledge collections, the role also offers the opportunity to work across a broader portfolio of knowledge and innovation technologies including document management, search, AI and emerging legal technology solutions.
This is a varied position that would suit someone with strong SharePoint expertise who enjoys combining technology, knowledge management and stakeholder engagement to deliver practical business improvements.
The key responsibilities and objectives of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Own and develop the firm's SharePoint and intranet environment
- Enhance knowledge collections, information architecture and content governance
- Improve enterprise search, taxonomy and metadata frameworks
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of knowledge platforms
- Work closely with lawyers and business services teams to understand requirements
- Manage and develop knowledge technologies including iManage, Relativity and other innovation platforms
- Evaluate and implement new tools and capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions
- Monitor platform performance and user engagement through analytics and reporting
To be considered for this role candidates will require the following experience and skills:
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
- Experience managing or developing knowledge, collaboration or content platforms
- Knowledge of information architecture, taxonomy and metadata management
- An understanding of enterprise search and content governance principles
- Experience working with knowledge management, legal technology or innovation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
- Experience within legal or professional services environments would be advantageous
