A leading global law firm has a 6 month contract (with the possibility of an extension thereafter) for an Intranet Coordinator to work in their London office. Reporting to the Intranet and Knowledge Systems Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the day to day maintenance of the firm’s international intranet and other UK knowledge systems, including the firm’s SharePoint based database.

Working collaboratively across many teams within the business, specifics of the role include:

• Supporting administration of the intranet and knowledge systems
• Working with the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Manager to develop, test and release elements of the firm’s intranet site
• Uploading documents to the intranet
• Facilitating and working with intranet stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
• Providing guidance regarding content, classification and submission of documents to the intranet
• Updating content continuously
• Providing training and support across the firm
• Collaborating and sharing information and knowledge firm-wide
• Deputising for the Intranet and Knowledge Systems Manager in their absence
• Working on intranet-related projects as required

In order to be considered for this role applicants should have:

• Experience of working in a law firm or within professional services
• Knowledge of corporate intranets/portals and collaborative tools
• Expertise in SharePoint 2013 (desirable)
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
