A leading law firm has a new role for an Intranet and Knowledge Systems Officer to be based at their Liverpool office. This person will have responsibility for the day to day maintenance of the firm’s global intranet and other knowledge systems.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • working with the Intranet and Knowledge Systems Manager to develop, test and implement new features within the firm’s intranet
  • managing document updates and uploads onto the intranet
  • working with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
  • providing assistance and guidance to stakeholders regarding content, classification and submissions to the site
  • reviewing content continually
  • providing training and support to intranet ‘super users’ and administrators globally
  • producing usage reporting and insights
  • trouble shooting technical and editorial issues
  • working closely with editors to ensure metadata standards are consistent
  • ensuring knowledge content adheres to company policy
  • supporting intranet and knowledge systems integration across all offices

In order to be considered for this role candidates should have:

  • expertise in SharePoint 2013/2016
  • work experience within a law firm
  • knowledge of corporate intranets/portals
  • strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • ability to interact with staff at all levels across an organisation
  • team player
