A leading international law firm has a vacancy for an Information Officer (Research and Client Data) to work in their new office in Liverpool. You will be required to provide in-depth business and legal research to fee earners working to tight deadlines. 
Other responsibilities include:

  • daily delivery of research for the firm
  • providing detailed analysis and summaries regarding clients, market information and competitor intelligence
  • providing corporate and legal current awareness
  • assessing and implementing new online services and information resources
  • delivering training and presentations on information resources
  • proactively meeting with internal clients to raise awareness of the department
  • regularly review publication lists regarding existing collection, advising budget managers/PSS as appropriate
  • place orders with suppliers and catalogue materials
  • assess information resources
  • journals procurement and management
  • invoice management and renewal process management

 In order to be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • experience of providing research and analysis within a law firm or professional services environment
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • the ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
