An international law firm has a new vacancy for an Information Officer to work in their Birmingham offices.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Carrying out legal research using hard copy and online resources

  • Providing business intelligence and supplying company information and documents

  • Managing events

  • Providing current awareness and horizon scanning services

  • Updating and developing intranet pages using SharePoint

  • Assisting with acquisitions, cataloguing and collection management

  • Liaising with suppliers regarding subscriptions

  • Records Management duties

 

In order to be considered for this role candidates should have:

 

  • A Library/Information qualification

  • Experience of working within a law firm or business library

  • Previously carried out online research using bespoke databases

  • Basic cataloguing skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
