Head of Business Development Learning

An expert in the business development and sales enablement learning is required by a leading and global advisory firm. This role interacts with virtually all outwardly facing staff in the UK arm of the firm and facilitates learning through direct engagement, programmes of learning and internal engagement.

The responsibilities and objectives of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing business development learning solutions to all outwardly facing staff from Executive to Partner level
  • Engaging with multiple external learning and development providers to facilitate learning activities
  • Managing a considerable budget
  • The management, evaluation and continuous development of an internal academy for business development
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement, including 500+ Partners
  • Working extensively with the incumbent during a 3-6 month handover period

To be suitable for this Business Development Skills Lead requirement candidates require the following experience:

  • Considerable gravitas/credibility in business bevelopment and sales enablement – winning large pieces of work
  • A deep understanding of the models, theories and tools that support the business development and sales enablement process
  • Hosting and facilitating learning seminars, forums and events. Being a focal point for questions
  • A deep understanding of learning environments, processes, models, theories and trends
  • Experience in a professional services environment, in particular the management of competing stakeholders and an appreciation of the internal politics of a matrixed business enterprise
  • This role will require UK wide business travel on a regular basis
