Global Head of Marketing           

A leader in the business publishing and intelligence has an opportunity for Head of Marketing to assume responsibility for the strategic direction and team within the marketing function. This is a role in which the focus will be almost exclusively on digital.

In this Global Head of Marketing vacancy, the primary responsibilities and objectives include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a function that is based in London, but with other locations in the US and Japan
  • Ensuring that the marketing function is one that works in conjunction with Sales, UX Teams and Client Success
  • Managing direct reports that are globally dispersed
  • Delivering on current group marketing objectives. Defining future group marketing strategy
  • Very strong focus best practice digital marketing approach
  • Overseeing functions within marketing that include: ROI, Automation, PR Strategy, Events and Content

Suitable candidates for this Global Head of Marketing will need the following experience and skills:

  • Experience in a similar level of role such as Marketing Director, Marketing VP or Head of Marketing in a B2B environment
  • Managing a team of senior marketing staff, ideally managing a geographically dispersed team
  • An expert in best practice digital marketing strategies
  • A demonstrable track record of working with sales functions
  • Related qualifications and/or a degree in a related discipline
  • Experience in the publishing/business intelligence sector. Life sciences would be particularly of interest
