A leading international law firm has an exciting new vacancy for a Knowledge and Information Centre Manager. Working in the new Knowledge and Business Intelligence Centre in Liverpool, you will perform a key role in managing the Researchers and Information Officers in that office and working with other KBIC colleagues in London to deliver firm-wide knowledge and information resources, advice, training and tailored research and analysis to support the business. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • line management of 4 individuals including one in London
  • running the day to day operations of the team to provide seamless access to knowledge and information
  • carrying out pro-active and reactive research providing client and market intelligence 
  • producing detailed reports and profiles to support fee-earners and business development
  • working on quick turnaround legal and business enquiries
  • carrying out analysis and assessment of research topics
  • recruiting and carrying out performance reviews of the Business Intelligence team
  • monitoring workflow
  • providing regular activity reporting to the Head of KBIC
  • budgeting and procurement management
  • developing and delivering training programmes
  • vendor liaison and assessment of online and hard copy sources
  • other projects as required
