Business Development Manager  Technology Buyer Sales

A global leader in marketing intelligence and advisory for IT and consumer technology has an opportunity for an experienced business development professional to lead in the development of sales opportunities among businesses that operate in the technology vendor space. The role predominantly works in the UK and Ireland territories and also manages some existing accounts.

To be suitable for this Business Development Manager requirement, candidates will be required to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

  • Considerable experience in Business Development roles, preferably operating in the technology vendor or a related IT space. 
  • A track record of unearthing key decision criteria, building trust and establishing opportunities to provide solutions to the challenges that business face
  • Building relationships with high level stakeholders in targeted customers and existing accounts
  • An understanding of the role/value of business intelligence, advisory and research to technology vendors
  • Working within a structured sales frameworks and developing a sales plan
  • An outstanding relationship builder
