Newly created! A leading global financial advisory and asset management firm are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Data & Knowledge Manager to join their London-based Knowledge Management team. In this hybrid role, you’ll support the development, organisation, and optimisation of internal knowledge systems, while helping scale the use of Generative AI (GenAI) across knowledge management (KM) processes. The role calls for someone who is comfortable analysing data, liaising with bankers and technologists, and adapting quickly when project priorities shift. Main responsibilities include:
Knowledge Management & Organisational Support
- Administer internal knowledge systems (e.g., intranet, document libraries, knowledge bases).
- Curate and maintain key internal content such as pitch materials, deal precedents, and best practices.
- Ensure content is well-structured, current, and aligned with taxonomy and metadata standards.
- Respond to internal content requests and support knowledge-sharing practices.
- Collaborate on projects to enhance knowledge workflows and the overall user experience.
Data Support
- Prepare and clean data from internal and external sources (e.g., CRM, deal databases).
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards using Power BI and Excel (e.g., PowerQuery, VBA).
- Create clear data visualisations and summary reports for stakeholders.
GenAI-Enhanced KM Processes
- Work with technical teams to integrate GenAI tools for tagging, summarisation, search, and insight generation.
- Support pilot programs and collect feedback to iterate and scale successful use cases.
- Ensure high-quality content feeds into GenAI tools by monitoring tagging, duplication, and freshness.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training
- Support the coordination of training sessions, internal communications, and knowledge-sharing events.
- Help drive adoption of KM and GenAI tools by creating user guides and providing hands-on support.
- Liaise regularly with stakeholders to capture feedback and ensure KM initiatives align with business needs.
Project & Operational Support
- Assist with ad hoc and cyclical projects such as system migrations, taxonomy redesign, and AI governance.
- Flexibly adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate changes to stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Knowledge Management, Library Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (PowerQuery, VBA, PivotTables) and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with knowledge management tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Notion) is a plus.
- Understanding of GenAI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, semantic search) and their business applications.
- Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for data organisation, content management, and continuous improvement.
