Document Management Systems Specialist

A global leader in professional services has a requirement for a Document Management Systems Specialist to join their team in Watford. This role would be suited to someone who already operates as a specialist in DMS, or someone that has broader IT experience and would like to specialise in this area.

The objectives of the Document Management Systems Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing 2nd/3rd line support for Document Management Systems including Prosperoware, Milan and iManage
  • Developing strong relationships with software suppliers, vendors and 3rd parties
  • Providing a technical customer service function for users throughout the organizational hierarchy

The day to day responsibilities and tasks of the Document Management Systems Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Application level support
  • Monitor and support back office infrastructure Worksite Cluster, Servers and Communication Server
  • Support of Active Directory user groups and administration
  • Monitoring alerts in SCOM
  • Working within service desk management frameworks
  • Escalating incidents when required

Suitable applicants for this Document Management Systems Specialist role will need the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role I.e. Application Support Analyst, DMS Analyst or related IT Support role
  • Outstanding customer facing skills
  • Previous experience with document management systems. Ideally iManage and related technologies such as Prosperoware and Milan
  • Experience with infrastructure management, monitoring and administrative tools such as SCOM, AD and servers
  • Ideally, a related degree or professional qualifications
