Back in 2018 McKinsey identified the ‘Analytics Translator’ as a key role that organisations should be hiring or developing internally.

Key to this is the ability to translate deep insight into the business context of an organisation to get the best out of data engineering teams. As well as help businesses execute on the insights generated by data engineering teams.

Whilst Knowledge & Information Managers have always held these kinds of responsibilities. At CB Resourcing we increasingly see the role of Knowledge & Information Manager acting as an expert interface between technology teams and the business on the most strategic projects at the core of our client’s businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity for the profession as more organisations identify this requirement.
