As a Senior Research Specialist, you will provide desktop research to consulting staff using traditional and advanced/alternative resources. A full training program will be tailored for you.
You will work closely with multiple consulting teams to assist in research planning, information delivery and capture of research.
You will cover a broad range of commercial, multi-industry and economic topics initially in order to build your knowledge. Eventually you will then focus on the Financial Services sector.
Working as part of the Financial Services team will allow you to develop expert level knowledge in that sector and add value working in partnership with the Financial Services Practice.
You will also participate in ongoing product and service evaluations and resource development activities including their implementation.
In this role, you will be based in our clients Munich office with other research team members and you will also be part of a research cluster working collaboratively across EMEA research to share capacity, best practice and expertise.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree in Business or Economics or Library Science from an accredited university or equivalent higher education degree
- Two+ years working experience in business information research in a consulting, financial services, professional services or equivalent firm is preferred
- Knowledge of key industry trends in various subindustries of Financial Services
- Can-do attitude, a proactive approach and a strong desire to learn new skills
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with senior business executives and team colleagues across the region in German and English
- Proficient user of Bloomberg, Eikon, CapitalIQ or similar resources
