Senior Research Analyst - European Retail Banking

The primary objectives and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing value added research to consultants and contributing to firm's extensive knowledge capabilities
  • Supporting on initiatives including proposal work, supporting client cases and wider business development activities
  • Acting as both a subject matter expert and mentor for less experienced, but extremely talented team members
  • Assuming the role of a thought leader for topics aligned to European retail banking
  • Building networks across the firm with key stakeholders and teams 
  • Utilising industry leading tools and resources to support in the composition of models and thought pieces

To be a suitable candidate for this Senior Research Analyst role, candidates require the following:

  • A strong understanding of the European Retail Banking industry, trends, drivers, challenges and opportunities
  • Experience from within a market intelligence or industry research firm would be preferred, but candidates from within the retail banking industry would be equally considered
  • The ability to lead, mentor and motivate others
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • A good grasp of both quantitative and qualitative research methods
