Senior Legal Technologist - Law                  Recruiter: Tim Palmer               

A highly respected international law firm has a requirement for a Senior Legal Technologist to join their team and be based out of their London office. This is a role where the primary requirement is to serve as an expert in designing and delivering solutions around automation both internally and for clients, but will also service other requirements within a classic legal tech stack such as collaboration. As a Senior Legal Technologist, this role will also provide leadership and guidance to less experienced members of the team.

The primary responsibilities and objectives of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and deliver automation solutions both internally and for clients, including documents, tasks and process
  • Utilising a legal technology tool set that utilises Contract Express
  • Working closely with multiple stakeholders and groups such as Lawyers, project management, LPM's and related business services functions
  • Acting as a mentor to less experienced legal technologists and delegating tasks
  • Ensuring that process, procedure and quality control all meet with company standards and providing robust documentation
  • Raising awareness and driving engagement with the legal technology function with key stakeholders
  • Acting as an SME for client engagement and training

Suitable candidates for this Senior Legal Technologist role will need the following experience and skills:

  • An expert around automation, and in particular Contract Express
  • A good understanding and experience within other technologies that typically comprise a legal tech stack in law such as collaboration, data rooms, AI and e-Signatures
  • The ability to cultivate relationships with individual stakeholders and groups
  • Strong project management and documentation skills
  • Some previous experience acting as a subject matter expert and providing training with respect to legal technology
  • Experience as a developer, particularly around Middleware would be particularly advantageous
