Senior Innovation Technologist - Law Recruiter: Tim Palmer
An international law firm that is headquartered in Central London has a requirement for a Senior Innovation/Legal Technologist. This role represents a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a firm that is very much at the beginning of their legal technology journey and would suit someone that is seeking a role with both internal and client facing challenges.
In this role the primary objectives and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing expertise for document automation, particularly around Contract Express and HighQ
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for innovation/legal technology internally, and in support of the firms client facing activities
- Driving engagement and awareness with internal stakeholders, to establish their needs from legal tech and to develop solutions
- Help to identify opportunities within the firm to utilize legal technology to solve business problems and bottlenecks
- Offer expertise around Contract Express, but eager and willing to learn and embrace other innovation technology solutions such as HighQ, Kira and Luminance and evangelize within the firm
- Working within the overarching objectives of the Knowledge Management function, within which the role sits
Suitable candidates will require the following experience, skills and expertise:
- Experience in a similar legal technology, knowledge engineering or innovation technology role
- Considerable expertise around Contract Express or similar document automation products
- Some exposure to HighQ, and ideally some knowledge of AI products such as Kira or Luminance
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage and apply strong frameworks to projects
- An infectious passion for legal and innovation technology
