We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join a team of technology and telecom market researchers. The research team is part of OSS / BSS / Telecom Software practice and is based in the company’s central London, office. The role of the research team is to provide  data, market analysis and support for telecom companies and their suppliers. The team quantifies and identifies innovations in the telecoms space and provides analysis of it.

Successful candidates must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, the ability to decode complex information and the capacity to synthesize knowledge, delivering meaningful insights that reflect and anticipate technological and market shifts over time.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct research, provide analytical support and write reports on:

  • IT vendors products and services as they relate to the Telecoms market
  • Provide analysis of the publicly reported data and the implications for the market regionally and within the Telecoms purchasers.
  • companies’ service portfolios, strategies and key assets and competencies
  • Understand the technology, business and commercial drivers for the change within an IT market sector.

The candidate would be expected to be able to run a programme area or be able to do so within a year with the support the team’s Manager.

The candidate will be required to work in conjunction with alongside colleagues in business development teams to drive sales, and also support marketing activities

Qualifications & Experience

Must have professional experience of at least 4 years in roles that are within or relate to the IT & telecoms industry, with a strong understanding of enterprise and telecoms technology, software and services

  • Background in market research and/or consulting in the IT/Telecoms industry
  • Strong analytical and research skills and ability to think creatively
  • Experience of training and coaching team members preferred
  • Ability to thrive in an intense, deadline driven environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to high quality work
