Senior Sector Analyst (Technology, Science & Industry) (can be based in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds or Manchester)

Exciting opportunity to join a highly respected firm supporting the Technology, Science & Industry practice. The postholder will work closely with senior Partners in the Technology, Science & Industry practice providing insight to support business development and thought leadership. This role is eligible for flexible working and can have a significant wfh element.
Responsibilities:
- Developing a deep understanding of the Technology, Science & Industry sector and working closely with the sector team to understand, analyse and disseminate research on core trends, challenges and opportunities
- Developing and promoting content, ideas and solutions that help inform the sector strategy, embedding client and market knowledge and positioning the firm for new client opportunities.
- Taking the lead on complex research projects and tasks, negotiating project scope, required inputs and outputs and liaising with internal and, where necessary, external parties and seeing those projects through to completion
- Originating and contributing to thought leadership in the firm, from initial idea generation and promotion to desk and primary research, report writing and presentation of findings
- Carrying out in-depth analysis on clients and producing reports which help inform decision making across the business, supporting Business Development and ultimately helping our firm to win more work
Requirements:
- Business research and analysis experience gained in a professional services or financial services / consulting / investment environment
- Experience of designing and delivering training on online information products and research services
- Familiarity with analysis, research techniques and report writing
