Research Manager – global membership body
Exciting opportunity to join a highly respected global membership body. The research team conducts primary survey research as well as secondary research and analysis to support members with an on going programme of insight and thought leadership. This role reports into the Head of Thought Leadership.
This role can be work from home but will require some visits to the Reading HQ for key meetings.
Responsibilities include:
- Project managing the research schedule and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Survey design and managing surveys for reports.
- Setting up interviews for primary research, carrying out interviews (where applicable) and managing the transcription process.
- Writing research reports and articles
- Data analysis
The successful candidate will have experience with:
- Quantitative data analysis
- Qualitative data analysis
- Ability to work autonomously
- Project management skills
- An efficient worker who can meet tight deadlines
- A thirst for information and a desire to get “behind” the statistics
- Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- 5 years’ experience in a research environment
- Some experience in business resilience, cyber security or general business operations would be highly beneficial
