Research Analyst (VP) – private equity focus
Top global consulting firm has a vacancy for a Research Analyst (grade VP) to support their private equity practice. The research team has a business development focus and works to support the Partners and MDs in their business development efforts by providing market insight and tracking opportunities. Working with a team of busy consulting professionals the research team support with up-to-date insight on the broader market.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly successful team of senior consultants serving the private equity sector.
Duties include:
- Providing in-depth insight to support client pitches and meetings to position the firm as expert advisers.
- Undertake ongoing research into the industry to spot opportunities to engage with customers.
- Attend internal meetings with key Partners and MDs from the private equity practice to support and align business development research activities.
- Assign basic research tasks to junior researchers and provide support and mentoring where required.
- Provide input and feedback on information resources related to the private equity sector and stay up to date with new solutions.
In order to be suitable:
- Minimum three years of experience providing insight and research on the private equity sector.
- Strong writing and presentation ability.
- Analysis experience with the ability to get to a ‘so what’ within research outputs.
