Learning and Knowledge Manager - FTSE 100 Company        

A global organisation and FTSE 100 constituent is seeking an experienced knowledge professional who will play a critical role in a project to re-organise and restructure the way in which learning and knowledge capital is delivered globally across the firm. This is a role that will require the successful candidate to advise in the definition of strategy, drive buy-in and cultural change, define needs of users and to deploy across the firm. This is a role that will be extremely well suited to a KM professional with experience or exposure to learning and development, and an understanding of the challenges of working in a global organisation.

The Learning and Knowledge Manager will have the following objectives and responsibilities:

  • Own the definition, design, development, rollout planning and execution of the Commercial Learning Programme as part of the transformation agenda
  • Accountable for the content management processes end-to-end, ensuring that they are fit for purpose, work efficiently and effectively across multiple geographic locations
  • Making best use of the existing tools and technology
  • Build a programme of cultural change to insert knowledge management, engaging with existing employees to drive an uptake in the sharing of knowledge capital across the business
  • Provision of regular reporting on both the cultural change programme and end user uptake of existing knowledge capital 
  • Supporting discussions within individual markets, functions and service lines through provision of tailored insights on key knowledge capital 

To be suitable for this Learning and Knowledge Manager requirement, candidates require the following:

  • Experience in complex organisational dynamics and the ability to converge different priorities of local and global teams
  • Demonstrable delivery success in federated environments, managing delivery and influencing change without the benefit of a formal mandate culture
  • Modern learning and knowledge management techniques that will engage and generate active connected commercial communities
  • Flexibility and a dynamic creative approach which will ensure we move quickly, responsively and in an agile way
  • The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively (even on technical subjects) with challenging or time poor stakeholders
  • A structured and organised approach to projects
  • Media, creative, customer experience or transformation/consulting industry experience would be a distinct benefit
