Just in! A leading independent global professional services firm is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to fulfill a varied range of content coordination activities by interacting directly with the firm’s stakeholders from all divisions and across all levels. This role will help organise and curate the firm’s collective knowledge and support content sharing across EMEA. The firm is a project-oriented business, generating many knowledge assets through business development efforts and delivering work for its clients. The firm is looking for someone to “bring to life” their systems that capture, organise, and make this knowledge referenceable – keeping the content up-to-date and relevant across their ever increasing EMEA staff footprint. The successful candidate will play a vital role in identifying, organising, and curating content, specifically taking ownership of activities to share content within the firm’s knowledge systems, but also supporting other content sharing roles that exist within the firm. The intention is to make all of this information readily available to improve their efficiency and increase the value of their deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with business teams to ensure that pertinent information is stored in a findable way
  • Liaising with KM and Comms teams to develop policies for how and when teams contribute content
  • Regular reviewing and updating internally shared content for (and in conjunction with) business units
  • Proactively checking for errors, anomalies, and gaps to ensure that information presented is accurate and complete
  • Identifying content for sharing and requesting reviews of existing shared information by business teams
  • Evaluating, categorising, tagging, publishing, and maintaining information on internal knowledge systems
  • Training users on the correct use of content submission mechanisms
  • Providing guidance on common taxonomy and metadata tagging best practices
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, working with other related teams to implement changes to enhance content submission efficiency
  • Championing content and repositories, promoting use, and reminding that continued contribution is key to having valuable reusable content
  • Building relationships with and gain buy-in of stakeholders at all levels, engaging geographic and content providers to drive consistency in approach and ensure alignment with the content strategy
  • Drive engagement across the business, encouraging adoption of content sharing systems and by providing insightful analytics to key stakeholders
  • Build relationships & partner across other shared services to best support business units in the achievement of their content sharing and communication goals

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Related work experience in a similar role for 1-3 years
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing content within a SharePoint Online Intranet, ideally at a professional services firm
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills
  • Motivated by constant learning and desire to make a meaningful contribution
  • Team Player with a positive “Let’s Get it Done” attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail & perfectionist approach to content presentation and accuracy
