A global management consultancy is looking for a KM Project Manager to support the roll-out of practice site hubs designed with practitioner input to house content consultants seek for business development.  The role requires strong communications and project management skills and would work directly with Industry and Service Leaders across the firm. The KM team’s focus is to facilitate the creation, sharing, and leveraging of knowledge assets across the firm. This full-time VP or SVP position would be located in London, and report to the Knowledge Management Lead.

Main responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements, design, manage, and maintain Industry and Service Line web pages on the firm’s SharePoint site
  • Responsible for delivering build-out of sites, working with Site Architect
  • Work closely with Industry and Service leadership to understand needs, report on site roll-out progress, and deliver metrics around usage
  • Represent the Knowledge Management Team, articulate the KM strategy, and be responsible for delivering KM objectives
  • Gather and secure documents in library structure and ensure taxonomy consistency throughout platforms
  • Identify best practice content across Industry and Service sites and share with the Team to continuously evolve content
  • Confirm security protocol and facilitate ease of document upload, applying new technologies that will expedite meta-tagging and uploading
  • Manage on-going status checks for all sites

  • Interpersonal skills that enable the individual to foster connections with colleagues throughout the firm
  • Effective verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate and advise on the firm’s knowledge management vision
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • At least four years work experience
  • Work experience in professional services and/or knowledge management a plus
  • Good business sense and judgement
