Knowledge Manager – Newcastle

An exciting new role has arisen within a highly respected organisation based in the North East.

Working as a knowledge manager the successful candidate will work with several departments across the organisation to help leverage and capture the firm’s expertise more effectively.

  • Capturing and organising external expertise for reuse
  • Editing and managing content from internal experts for reuse internally and externally
  • Stakeholder management with department heads to guide a fit for purpose KM strategy
  • Working with Intranet (SharePoint) team to guide and plan systems improvements
  • Organise and maintain internal content
  • Responding to enquiries and research request from internal stakeholders
  • Managing renewals to a number of research databases
  • Current awareness bulletins for special interest groups internally

In order to be suitable candidates must have:

  • Experience in a knowledge management or information services role
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good editorial experience
  • Strong in the use of online research databases
