A leading international law firm has a new vacancy for an Information Centre Manager on a fixed term contract basis. You will perform a key role in managing the Researchers and Information Officers and working with other colleagues to deliver firm-wide knowledge and information resources, advice, training and tailored research and analysis to support the business.


Key responsibilities include:


•line management of several individuals

•running the day to day operations of the team to provide seamless access to knowledge and information

•carrying out pro-active and reactive research providing client and market intelligence

•producing detailed reports and profiles to support fee-earners and business development

•working on quick turnaround legal and business enquiries

•carrying out analysis and assessment of research topics

•recruiting and carrying out performance reviews of the Business Intelligence team

•monitoring workflow

•providing regular activity reporting to the Head of KBIC

•budgeting and procurement management

•developing and delivering training programmes

•vendor liaison and assessment of online and hard copy sources

•other projects as required


In order to be considered for this role you will have:


•proven leadership skills and experience with the ability to motivate a team

•experience of managing a team with commitment to the development of oneself and others

•a proactive approach to customer services

•excellent communication skills

•ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across the firm

•previously worked within professional services

•strong accuracy and attention to detail

•ability to manage own workload, that of others and work to tight deadlines
