A leading international law firm has a new vacancy for an Information Officer to join their team in Liverpool. Reporting to the Information Centre Manager and communicating with colleagues across the organisation, the Information Officer will provide a tailored and in-depth business and legal research service to internal clients.
This role will have primary responsibility for either client data or collection development and specifics include:
- Carrying out detailed and tailored research and analysis on clients, sectors, geographies and topics
- Providing competitor intelligence and company profiles for pitches
- Promoting and delivering current awareness
- Acting as a trusted advisor and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the firm
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to manage enquiry workflow ensuring quality work is delivered to deadline
- Creating and delivering bespoke training on knowledge and information resources to fee earners and new starters, both in person and remotely for the London office
- Managing and collecting client data OR working on collection development/procurement (this is dependent on experience and preference)
- Proactively offer and coordinate training with external providers
- Participate in ad hoc projects
To be considered for this role candidates should have:
- Experience of working in a business information role within professional services
