A leading international law firm has an exciting new vacancy for an Information Centre Manager. Working in the new Knowledge and Business Intelligence Centre in Liverpool, you will perform a key role in managing the Researchers and Information Officers in that office and working with other KBIC colleagues in London to deliver firm-wide knowledge and information resources, advice, training and tailored research and analysis to support the business.
Key responsibilities include:
·line management of 4 individuals including one in London
·running the day to day operations of the team to provide seamless access to knowledge and information
·carrying out pro-active and reactive research providing client and market intelligence
·producing detailed reports and profiles to support fee-earners and business development
·working on quick turnaround legal and business enquiries
·carrying out analysis and assessment of research topics
·recruiting and carrying out performance reviews of the Business Intelligence team
·monitoring workflow
·providing regular activity reporting to the Head of KBIC
·budgeting and procurement management
·developing and delivering training programmes
·vendor liaison and assessment of online and hard copy sources
·other projects as required
