Business Development Lead  – private equity data provider

Senior Salesperson in information services/market data? Selling into private equity, investment banks and/or consulting? Looking for a move into an exciting start up with equity?

Our client is a high-growth data business serving the private equity and M&A space. In a couple of years of trading they already count many top PE houses and all the MBB firms among their client base. The founding team and investors come from the industries they serve (private equity and consulting) and ARR is in the millions after a relatively short time trading.

This is an exciting time to join and lead on large sales across the European territory for a high-growth information provider serving the private equity industry. Set up by former private equity executives to provide solutions to speed up and augment the private equity research workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking a lead on big ticket (50-150k) sales in the European market to private equity firms, investment banks and corporate finance advisory teams.
  • Feeding back to product teams to further align solutions with target customers.

In order to be suitable, you must have:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a non-hierarchical start-up environment.
  • Experience selling information solutions to financial services, consulting and/or private equity
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Potential to grow into a head of sales role.
